AUPHA is pleased to announce AUPHA's participation in the first annual Health Professions Week (HPW) which will take place September 26-30, 2016.

HPW is an exciting, week-long event for high school and college students interested in learning more about careers in the health professions. Each event will provide students with interactive opportunities to explore health-related education programs and careers. HPW will include an online treasure hunt, on-campus events, and a two-day virtual fair.

Free Student Registration
High school and college students, teachers, and parents are invited to register for free. Students will learn about 19 health professions, talk directly with current healthcare practitioners, and find information about educational requirements for each career. Participating health professions are listed on the Explore Health Careers Website.

School Participation - Save the Dates
AUPAH is currently working with staff from eighteen other health professions organizations to coordinate and plan the event. More details will be shared with you soon. In the meantime, think about what type of on-campus events you may be able to host to support HPW and promote the field of Health Administration. Later this month, we will ask you to indicate your interest and commitment to participate. Right now, please save the dates!
