2017 ANNUAL MEETING RECAP
AUPHA’s 2017 Annual Meeting drew over 350 members and guests to the sunny city of Long Beach. A record number of first-time registrants, 76 in total, were present to honor award recipients David Blumenthal, MD (William B. Graham Prize winner); Sherril Gelmon, DrPH (Filerman Prize winner); and David K. Jones, PhD (Thompson Prize winner). Congratulations to poster winners Patrick Shay and Edward Schumacher (1st prize); Ruiling Guo, Lawrence Fulton, and Stephen Berkshire, (2nd prize); and Leigh Cellucci and Dorothy Muller (3rd prize).
Many thanks to Leah Vriesman, University of California Los Angeles, for putting together a pre-conference off-site visit to Kaiser Permanente Signal Hill for the Global Symposium participants (see attached photo).
