This year’s Graduate Program and Practitioner Workshop, formerly known as Leaders Conference, will take place on Tuesday, March 27, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, from 7:00am – 12:00Noon. The Workshop will be held in conjunction with ACHE’s 2018 Congress.

This year’s theme is Who is the “We” in We the People? The Workshop will open with the joint ACHE/AUPHA breakfast presentation featuring David B. Nash, MD, MBA, and the Dean of the Jefferson College of Population Health.  A leading thought leader in the area of population health, Dr. Nash will challenge current leaders to change the model of care to promote health rather than focus on delivering services.

Repeatedly named to Modern Healthcare’s list of the Most Powerful Persons in Healthcare, Dr. Nash’s activities cover a wise scope, including authoring more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and editing 23 books, most recently Population Health: Creating a Culture of Wellness (2nd edition).

Registration for the 2018 Workshop will open in early December. Be sure to check the Graduate Program and Practitioner Workshop page under the Event tab at www.aupha.org for updates.
