Dr. Michael McCue, R. Timothy Stack Professor at the VCU Department of Health Administration, co-authored a Commonwealth Fund Issue Brief entitled "
How the ACA's Medical Loss Ratio Rule Protects Consumers and Insurers Against Ongoing Uncertainty." The brief, which was published online in June, was based on work with Dr. McCue's colleague, Dr. Mark Hall, Director of Health Law and Policy at Wake Forest University School of Law.
Associate Professor Dr. Laura McClelland received the 2019 Distinguished Service Award from the Health Care Management Division of the Academy of Management. Recipients of this honor have made significant contributions in one or more of the following areas: enhancing a field of study, founding or creatively editing a scholarly journal, or unusually effective service to a major professional institution.
