AUPHA is pleased to share details of the 2022 Academic Program and Practitioner Workshop, scheduled to be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 East Wacker Drive, on Tuesday, March 29th, 7:00 – 11:30AM Central time. AUPHA’s Graduate Program Committee, led by co-chairs Laurie Shanderson, PhD, MPA, FACHE, Methodist College, and Rhonda BeLue, PhD, Saint Louis University, has planned an exceptional Workshop.

The Workshop opens with the annual AUPHA/ACHE Joint Keynote Breakfast Session featuring Quint Studer. Studer’s presentation, Creating a Culture of Replenishment, will drive the theme of the Workshop. Studer has spent decades in healthcare and has worked for multiple healthcare systems. In 2000, he founded Studer Group®, a healthcare and education coaching company. After this was sold, he founded the Studer Community Institute, a not-for-profit whose mission is to improve the quality of life for people. He has authored many books, with several appearing on bestseller lists. His newest book, The Calling: Why Healthcare Is So Special, is aimed at helping healthcare professionals keep their sense of passion and purpose high.

The next segment of the Workshop features a panel including two academics, a practitioner, and a student, who will discuss replenishment, organizational compassion, and Joy in Work. The Workshop will close with an interactive, hands-on session.
