AUPHA is pleased to have successfully taken part in the 2019 Health Professions Week, which is a free, week-long event for high school and college students to learn about the various healthcare related fields. Along with 22 other associations, AUPHA participated and executed a week of events that included a Virtual Treasure Hunt, Self-Care Day, HPW Instagram Chat, Financial Literacy Day, and Virtual Fair. These events afforded the over 4,500 registrants to not only learn about the various healthcare fields, but also about skills that provide a good foundation for future students.
AUPHA would like to thank the Health Professions Week Executive Committee for spearheading this year’s efforts, as well as all the individuals from our member programs who volunteer to help. A special thanks to the individuals listed below for chatting with students and representing the healthcare administration field for an hour during the Virtual Fair.
