This coming December, the Department of Health Services Management and Leadership will be offering a two-week long study tour of the health care delivery system of Israel. In cooperation with the Braun School of Public Health at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, students will have an opportunity to interact with faculty and students from the Braun School, visit a wide variety of healthcare delivery organizations throughout the country including a M*A*S*H unit and carefully examine how Israel is able to deliver care from community clinics, to tertiary hospitals to long term care organizations. The study tour runs from December 10-24 2011 and is open to students outside of GW.
