Dean Smith is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan School of Public Health and former Dean and Richard A. Culbertson Professor of Health Policy and Systems Management at the LSU Health Science Center School of Public Health - New Orleans. He is committed to a line of teaching and research that helps to provide a better understanding of the financial aspects of working with and working in health care delivery and financing organizations.
