On May 3, 2012, the JHU Bloomberg School of Public Health conducted its first Upsilon Phi Delta induction ceremony. Faculty Advisor Ann-Michele Gundlach presented each inductee with a pin and certificate. The MHA program chose Daniel Pink’s Drive as a gift for each of the 22 inductees as it anticipated that UPD members will be well-positioned to motivate and lead our healthcare systems.
The Hopkins chapter of UPD will be working closely with the MHA Student Association to identify and promote community service and leadership activities for students within the department of Health Policy and Management. Additionally, the chapter would like to reach out to other local chapters to pursue such initiatives.
