Annie Simpson, PhD., MSc joins College of Health Professions Faculty
We are proud to welcome Dr. Annie Simpson as she joins the faculty in the Department of Healthcare Leadership and Management as an Assistant Professor. She will work with the MHA, DHA and Ph.D students in Rehabilitation Sciences; and her unique background in information systems, collaborative research in health outcomes and statistics will serve as an asset to our programs. She also has vigorous research activities across the MUSC campus. Annie is also the first graduate of MUSC’s Ph.D in Rehabilitation Science and has earned favorable rapport with fellow faculty and students.
Annual Health Administration Alumni and Leadership Conference
The Fifteenth Annual Health Administration Alumni and Leadership conference occurred on October 25th in Charleston, SC with record attendance. With the theme of High Performance Healthcare, a series of ACHE Category 1 panel discussions enlightened those in attendance regarding innovative practices in the healthcare industry. Attendees enjoyed expert panelist discussions from leading executives and consultants in healthcare as well as networking opportunities, lunch and an oyster roast in the grand tradition of the South.
