The Department of Health Services Management and Leadership at the George Washington University was recently awarded a grant of $65,000 from the Teaching and Learning Collaborative at GW to begin an executive MHSA degree program in Fall 2013. The EMHSA will be delivered in a hybrid format over six consecutive semesters. Each semester will begin with a four-day, on-campus session concentrating on leadership and ethics along and will immediately be followed by a 12-week online session that will focus on: management and strategy; information technology and decision science; community health and quantitative methods; finance and economics; quality improvement; and law and regulation.
