The Department of Health Services Management and Leadership is delighted to welcome Leah Masselink, PhD who joined the faculty this Fall as an assistant professor. Leah earned her PhD in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and was a postdoctoral fellow in the Program in Health Care Quality and Patient Outcomes at the UNC School of Nursing. Leah will be teaching the combined epidemiology and biostatistics class for our residential MHSA students and will be the co-coordinator of the quantitative methods and community health module for the upcoming executive MHSA degree program.
The Department must say farewell to Dr. Sheila McGinnis who has been a visiting associate professor since Fall 2011. Sheila and her husband David will be returning to Montana at the end of the year. We are sorry to see her go and sincerely thank her for all that she has done for our students over the past 18 months.
