Very pleased to have read this announcement. Vice-Admiral Adam Robinson, Jr. MD (Ret) is an 'invaluable jewel' to have joined your faculty.
You have gained an outstanding leader in healthcare leadership. You have also gained an outstanding person who represents the experience and knowledge of not only the highest ranked person in Navy Medicine (while on active duty), but also one who is highly knowledgeable in international health, and a lot more. He is a warm, friendly person and I have not doubt that the students will adore him.
I do hope Vice Admiral Robinson can come as a guest lecturer to my class during this Spring Semester of 2013-his presence would be a great honor for Old Dominion University. If not, I hope he can produce a video of one of his leadership presentations that can be shared.
Thank you, GW, for sharing this information. This is wonderful news!!
