Donald Zimmerman, PhD has joined UMUC's graduate Health Care Administration MS Degree Program. Don was Associate Professor and Director of Health Care Management Programs at Towson University and previously he taught at Farleigh Dickinson University. In addition, Don assisted Western Governor’s University in the development of its competency-based MBA program in health care management. Don's experience includes work at Research Triangle Institute International, The Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council, and the National Health Policy Forum and Intergovernmental Health Policy Project at George Washington University. Don earned his doctorate at Stony Brook University in Sociology and has authored a number of health care management and policy articles and technical reports.
