HAMPCAS Welcomes New Member Programs to the Service

By AUPHA Exchange posted 05-10-2013 09:13

In September 2012, AUPHA launched the Healthcare Administration, Management & Policy Centralized Application Service (HAMPCAS) for its second cycle.  The web-based system is the first centralized application specifically for students applying to graduate programs in health administration, healthcare management, and health policy.

Participating schools represent the diverse AUPHA member program base, but also the many academic settings, such as allied health, health sciences, management/business, medicine, and public health.  While HAMPCAS programs come from a variety of backgrounds, they all have similar goals—to increase awareness of their program and degree offerings, diversify and enhance their applicant pools, and to simplify the application and admissions process. HAMPCAS has proven a successful instrument in helping member schools obtain these goals.

Participation in HAMPCAS is a complimentary AUPHA graduate member benefit, and the service continues to welcome new programs for the 2012-2013 application cycle. HAMPCAS is pleased to announce the newest service participants, Kings College, Pfeiffer University, and Indiana University.

In preparation for the third HAMPCAS application cycle, AUPHA invites interested programs to join us for an informational HAMPCAS session at the 2013 AUPHA Annual Meeting in Monterey, California.  The session will be held on Friday, June 21st from 1:45 pm-3:00 pm, and will feature an interactive demonstration of the service, as well as presentations by current HAMPCAS participants. For more information, join us for an informational webinar, or contact Stephanie Williams.
