Program News: Tulane University

Mark L. Diana, PhD has been appointed to serve as the Master of Health Administration Program Director, effective July 1, 2013.  Dr. Diana is an Associate Professor and the Drs. W. C. Tsai and P. T. Kung Professor in Health Systems Management, and has been with the department for 6 years.  He formerly served in this role from 2008-2010.  During his tenure, the program experienced tremendous growth, and we are thrilled he has agreed to take on this critical role.  We look forward to his leadership in the MHA program. 

Thomas J. Stranova, ScD has been appointed as Associate Dean for Student Services, effective July 1, 2013. T.J. has been a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Global Health Systems and Development since 2007, where he has served as director for the Master of Health Administration program and co-director for the China Abroad Program. He holds a doctor of science degree in health systems management and a master of health administration degree, both from Tulane. We look forward to his leadership in enhancing student services and our students’ experiences at Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

Mollye Demosthenidy, JD, MHA was selected as a RAND Fellow for the week-long Policy Analysis Workshop at RAND’s Santa Monica headquarters in late July.
