AUPHA Establishes Upsilon Phi Delta Network Community

The AUPHA Network is a platform available to all faculty and Program Directors at AUPHA member programs, and is home to AUPHA’s Faculty Networks and communities of interest. These communities are member-led groups that generate knowledge and discussions regarding specific areas of health administration education. In response to requests for a platform in which Upsilon Phi Delta chapter advisors may interact and share ideas, AUPHA launched a UPD discussion group on Monday, September 16th. This community will help better connect UPD advisors with resources and fellow chapters for improved collaboration.

The library has been populated with resources, including sample induction ceremonies, certificates, and press releases. We encourage chapters to also share templates or resources utilized within their own chapters, and urge users to pose thoughtful discussion posts or questions.

Program Directors and chapter advisors at AUPHA member programs with an active Upsilon Phi Delta chapter have automatically been subscribed. Additional faculty involved with an active chapter are welcome to join by contacting Stephanie Williams.

Upsilon Phi Delta is a national honor society for students in healthcare management and policy. The society recognizes, rewards, and encourages academic preparation and excellence. The right to establish a chapter is a member benefit to all AUPHA member programs. Programs interested in establishing a chapter should contact Stephanie Williams for additional information.
