Professor Joseph Coyne, Chair of the CAHME accredited Health Policy and Administration (HPA) Program at Washington State University (WSU), has been appointed to the board of directors of AutoGenomics in Carlsbad, California. His appointment was confirmed during the board’s June meeting.

“For AutomGenomics to achieve its full potential and further its aggressive growth, we need an experienced visionary in the area of International Health Research and strategic planning with strong industry contacts to guide us in taking this organization to the next level”, according to AutoGenomics CEO Fareed Kureshy. “ In reviewing your qualifications, I feel you would be an exceptional asset to our Board of Directors .”

Coyne has served for 5 years as the Chair of the Department of Health Policy and Administration. He has served for 10 years as Director of the WSU Center for International Health Services Research & Policy. He has also served as Chair of the HPA Advisory Board for the past 5 years.

AutoGenomics is a company that aims to increase access, improve quality, and reduce costs through providing genetic information to optimize treatment in areas such as Pain Management, Mental Health, Cardiac Assessment as well as testing for the predisposition to various cancers.
