The Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University today announced the launch of an online Master of Science in Management of Health Informatics and Analytics program. Beginning in January 2017, HealthInformatics@GW will develop the next generation of health innovators, who will leverage data analytics and IT-based solutions to improve patient outcomes and the quality of health care delivery in the U.S. and abroad. The new program joins the other GW Public Health Online programs, which include an executive Master of Health Administration and a Master of Public Health.

They will gain skills in project management, business intelligence, health innovation, predictive analysis and the Internet of Things. Applicants should have a minimum of three years of clinical or administrative experience in the health care sector and be currently employed in the health care industry.
