AUPHA welcomes Michelle McCray and Carly Evans to the staff.
Michelle joins AUPHA this week as part-time Office Assistant. She will support staff in a variety of ways each afternoon. Her background includes experience in the hospitality industry as an events coordinator and in the education arena as a tutor. She graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a B.S. in Hotel & Restaurant Management.
Carly joins AUPHA as the Recognition Programs Manager and will take over certification duties from Chris Sanyer. She will also be responsible for the prizes, scholarships, and awards programs, working as the liaison to the Bachrach, Corris Boyd, Filerman, and Thompson committees, as well as spearheading the internal awards program.. She is the recent recipient of a Masters in Public Policy from the George Washington University's Trachtenberg School of Public Policy Administration. She previously attended Baylor University where she studied political science and was a member of the Glenn R. Capp Debate Forum. Carly originally is from Kansas City and is an active fan of her hometown Royals. She will join AUPHA later this month.
