AUPHA is celebrating the 15th Anniversary of hosting an Academic Forum during the HIMSS20 Global Health Conference & Exhibition, March 9, 2020 in Orlando, FL. The full-day forum brings together faculty from across AUPHA to present current research and share innovative education strategies. This year the keynote speaker will be HIMSS Vice President for Public Policy, Thomas Leary. To mark the 15th anniversary a panel of past presenters and thought leaders will discuss the future direction of HIT needs from a research and educational perspective. Based on feedback from the 2019 Academic Forum, we are extending the scope of the Forum beyond research presentations to include approaches to pedagogy related to the health information technology and informatics. This shorter format includes methods/teaching approaches/and classroom management strategies. The format is shorter (15 minutes) and occurs during lighting rounds.
Because AUPHA is a Collaborating Organization with HIMSS, all AUPHA faculty receive a discounted registration fee of just $185.
