A capacity audience gathered in Ann Arbor this past October for “Leading Together: The Transformation to Population Health,” a symposium sponsored by the Griffith Leadership Center in the Department of Health Management & Policy at the University of Michigan. Attendees came from 27 states and Canada.
The symposium was designed to help participants learn to leverage leadership skills to achieve excellence in the new era of accountable care. Fourteen speakers from around the country provided varying perspectives, including those of providers, payers, policymakers, and innovators, to foster solutions to improve the health of our communities. The symposium also provided a platform for current students, faculty, and alumni to network and to learn from each other’s experience.
