UW Hosts an Evening for Alumni and Friends
On November 19, nearly 140 alumni and friends of the program gathered for the 2013 Evening for Alumni and Friends event. Executive MHA alums Susan Haufe ('07) and Chris Shuhart ('09) moderated a stellar panel of Washington health care leaders on the topic of the implementation of the Affordable Care Act in Washington State. The panelists included Richard Onizuka, CEO of the Washington Health Benefit Exchange; MaryAnne Lindeblad, Medicaid Director of the Washington State Health Care Authority; Scott Bond (’78), President and CEO of the Washington State Hospital Association; and Daniel Lessler, CMO of the Washington State Health Care Authority ('92). ACHE credit was earned by 29 event attendees. The MHA faculty and staff would like to thank everyone who attended this event.
