Two Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) Students selected for dissertation awards
The College of Graduate Studies at Central Michigan University since 184 annually honors doctoral students at the University who show “exemplary scholarly efforts” in their research resulting in their doctoral dissertation. Two Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) students who completed their doctoral studies in 2013 and defended their dissertations were selected by the College of Graduate Studies for the 2013 Outstanding Dissertation Award.

Dr. Mary Cooke’s dissertation is titled Financial Risk for Total Health Care Costs: The Impact of Financial Incentives on Physician Practice Infrastructure and Physician Behavior.

Dr. Bryan Schneider’s dissertation is titled Prioritization of Inpatient Hospital Services to Prisoners: A Method for Justifying Costs and Meeting Constitutional Standards.

In the past four years four DHA students have won this important recognition from the University. The DHA Program at Central Michigan University is now its 12th year.
