HMI Students Place 2nd in Ohio State Case Competition
Congratulations and thanks to Anika Arties, Matt Bader, Korey Domenick, Kyle Holley, Holden Spurrier, and Aver Yakubu, HMI students who represented the University of Missouri as two teams at The Ohio State University Healthcare Case Competition on April 11, 2014. A total of 12 teams competed and the team of Anika, Matt, and Korey (pictured below) were awarded 2nd place!
Dr. Lanis Hicks Wins 2014 Gold Chalk Award
Congratulations to Dr. Lanis Hicks, the School of Medicine faculty recipient of the 2014 Gold Chalk Award!
The Gold Chalk Award, presented by the Graduate Professional Council, recognizes University of Missouri faculty who have made significant contributions to the education and training of graduate and professional students. Dr. Hicks definitely fits those criteria and most certainly deserves this recognition. She was nominated by Diana Rickard and Ellie Funke, two of our Executive MHA students. It is gratifying to know that our students recognize her contributions to their learning and future success!
