Carole Roan Gresenz, PhD, Appointed as Interim Chair
Carole Roan Gresenz, PhD, the Bette Jacobs Endowed Professor in the Department of Health Systems Administration at the School of Nursing & Health Studies was recently appointed interim chair of the department. Gresenz is serving as chair in place of Patricia Cloonan, PhD, who was recently appointed interim dean of the School of Nursing & Health Studies.
Horak Appointed Chair Elect of AUPHA Quality Improvement Faculty Forum
Bernard Horak, PhD, FACHE, CPHQ, has been appointed as chair elect of the AUPHA Quality Improvement Faculty Forum. Horak, who is the graduate program director in the Department of Health Systems Administration, was also recently recertified as an ACHE Fellow.
Friedland Presents at University of Waterloo
Robert Friedland, PhD, presented at a one-day workshop sponsored by the University of Waterloo and the University of Kent. Friedland’s presentation, “Demography Is Not Destiny,” was part of the workshop titled “Does Population Age Structure Affect Asset Values? Can It Be Deflationary?”
