Welcome Matt Stern, AUPHA HAMPCAS Consultant!
Matt Stern is a native Chicagoan that has recently relocated to Denver. There, he is a project manager at a hospital in the Denver Metro Area. Trained as a meeting planner at the start of his career, his path led him to academia when he joined the Rush University - Department of Health Systems Management. In that role, Matt served in various ways on the HAMPCAS Advisory Committee to continuously improve the experience for the applicants as well as the graduate program admissions staff.
Outside of work life, Matt dedicates his time to volunteer efforts from coaching youth sports to assisting at homeless shelters and recovery programs. Matt and his wife Mackenzie are diehard Chicago sports fans (Go Blackhawks) and love the outdoors.
Working at Rush during the launch of HAMPCAS, Matt saw the amazing things that the application system can do - even in an environment that is skeptical to change their current processes. Matt has assisted numerous institutions integrate HAMPCAS into their current workflows and serves as our subject matter expert on that topic. One of his goals is to share the many ways that HAMPCAS can be used to enhance your program's admissions process with this amazing tool.
