HAMPCAS Update

On behalf of Dan Gentry, Chair of the HAMPCAS Advisory Committee, please extend a warm  welcome  to NYU and Florida A&M, the two newest programs to join HAMPCAS--AUPHA's national, centralized application system for graduate programs in healthcare management and policy. This brings the total number of programs in the system to 44. HAMPCAS is a free member benefit for all AUPHA full and associate member programs.

For anyone unable to attend the HAMPCAS Breakfast session at the Annual Meeting in Miami, the slides from the session are attached here. In addition to summarizing all of the improvements coming to the system with the upgrade to HAMPCAS 3.0 this fall, the slides also highlight the experiences that three AUPHA programs have had over the past four years as part of HAMPCAS: Cornell University, University of Missouri, and Virginia Commonwealth University.

There is still plenty of time to join HAMPCAS before the next cycle opens in early September. Matt Stern, AUPHA's HAMPCAS specialist, is eager to have phone conversations, schedule live Webinars, or arrange for a campus visit for any programs interested in participating in HAMPCAS. Matt can be reached at mstern@aupha.org
