AUPHA is pleased to announce that Christy Harris Lemak, PhD, FACHE, has been elected as Chair of the 2015-2016 Board of Directors. Lemak is Professor and Chair of the Department of Health Services Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Diane Howard, PhD, MPH, Assistant Professor and Director of Student Development at Rush University in Chicago, was elected as Chair-Elect. Howard served on the Board most recently as the Treasurer. Brenda Freshman, PhD, was elected to the role of Secretary. She is an associate professor at California State University Long Beach, in the Health Administration Department.
Rounding out the Executive Committee are Thomas Vaughn, PhD, University of Iowa, as Immediate Past Chair, and Mark Diana, PhD, Tulane University, who was elected by the Board as Treasurer.
