If you weren’t able to attend the 2015 Annual Meeting last month in Miami, you missed a great educational and networking opportunity. One of AUPHA’s highest attended meetings, there were 44 new members and 24% attending for the first-time. Dr. Herminia Palacio and Carlos Migoya opened and closed the Meeting with interesting and informative presentations. A dozen exhibitors, over half of them exhibiting with AUPHA for the first time, shared the latest in publishing and technology with meeting attendees.
Thompson Prize winner Larry Hearld, PhD, Filerman Prize winner Richard Lichtenstein, PhD, and William B. Graham Prize co-recipient Tony Culyer, PhD, were present to receive their awards and accolades. Sadly, Alan Maynard, PhD, co-recipient of the Graham Prize, was unable to attend the meeting but shared his delight at receiving the Prize through a videotaped message.
Congratulations to Rita Borzillo, Eastern University, the winner of the iPad Air raffle, generously donated by Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, and to the following poster prize winners:
