Are you passionate about teaching healthcare management? Looking to build your network in the field? Seeking a chance to build your resume with a volunteer opportunity? Want to get more involved in AUPHA?

The AUPHA Faculty Networks have 10 leadership vacancies for 2011-2012, and we would love to have you join us.  We are seeking individuals interested in becoming chair-elect of the following Networks:

Chairs-elect typically spend two years in that position before having the option to become chair for up to an additional two years.  Successful candidates have the energy and drive to connect with others, and have some comfort with using technology to do so (your primary tool is the AUPHA Network, after all!).  We will happily train and guide new users, of course!

All incoming chairs-elect should also plan to attend the Faculty Network Leaders Meeting on June 22, 2011, 9-11 a.m. in Charleston, SC, a precursor to the 2011 Annual Meeting.

For a complete description of expectations, please review our Stakeholder Roles & Responsibilities document.

To nominate yourself, post a message to the discussion group of the Faculty Network you are interested in, indicating:

1) Your relevant experience in the topic domain
2) Why you are interested in leading the group
3) Your ideas on what the Faculty Network can accomplish

Leaders must be AUPHA members. Self-nominations are due by April 18.  In the event of multiple candidates, AUPHA will conduct electronic voting. The complete timeline contains all details.
