Opportunities to Lead Still Available

We still have four Faculty Networks who are in need of a chair-elect for 2011-2012. Leading a Faculty Network is a terrific way to meet colleagues, learn more about the field, and an opportunity to get involved with AUPHA at a national level.
We are still seeking individuals interested in becoming chair-elect of the following Networks:
Ethics
Health Information Management
Innovative Classroom Teaching
Medical Group Practice
Chairs-elect typically spend two years in that position before having the option to become chair for up to an additional two years. Successful candidates have the energy and drive to connect with others, and have some comfort with using technology to do so (your primary tool is the AUPHA Network, after all!). We will happily train and guide new users, of course!
All incoming chairs-elect should also plan to attend the Faculty Network Leaders Meeting on June 22, 2011, 9-11 a.m. in Charleston, SC, a precursor to the 2011 Annual Meeting.
For a complete description of expectations, please review our
Stakeholder Roles & Responsibilities
document.
If you are interested in leading, contact Kristi Donovan at
kdonovan@aupha.org
for further details.
