AUPHA’s Centralized Application Service Welcomes Its Inaugural Programs

ARLINGTON, Va., March 18, 2011 – The Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting programs into the first national centralized application service for students applying to graduate programs in health administration, healthcare management and health policy. Scheduled for launch in late summer, HAMPCAS (Healthcare Administration, Management & Policy Centralized Application Service) is well into development and is in the initial stages of enrolling programs into the service. AUPHA recently welcomed the following programs to the service:

  • University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health*
  • Carnegie Mellon University, Heinz College, Health Care Policy & Management
  • Des Moines University, College of Health Sciences
  • Georgia State University, Institute of Health Administration, Robinson College of Business*
  • Governors State University, Dept. of Health Admin., College of Health & Human Svcs. *
  • University of Iowa School of Public Health, Department of Health Management and Policy*
  • University of Minnesota School of Public Health, Division of Health Policy and Management*
  • University of Missouri--Columbia, Health Management & Informatics*
  • University of North Texas Health Science Center, School of Public Health, Dept. of Health Management & Policy
  • Ohio State University, Division of Health Services Management & Policy*

AUPHA has been conducting webinars to preview and demonstrate HAMPCAS for interested programs daily over the past few weeks.  “The enthusiasm not only among our member faculty, but also from admissions directors and staff has made all of our work over the past several months well worth it, “said AUPHA COO, Liane Kluge.
