Please join us June 11, 2011 in Seattle, WA for a preconference to the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting (ARM). The purpose of this conference is to facilitate collaboration between health care delivery systems, particularly hospital community benefit programs, and the communities they serve. Academicians, practitioners, and policy makers will present information regarding recent research findings and policy changes, along with their implications to the field. Particular attention will be paid to community benefit oversight and regulation in light of recent federal and state regulatory changes. Participants include representatives from The Hilltop Institute at the University of Maryland (UMBC), Catholic Healthcare Association, Jackson Healthcare, University of Kentucky, Saint Louis University, The Ohio State University, Georgetown University, University of Michigan, and University of Wisconsin, National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), and Health and Human Services (HHS).
