dissertation.
Dr. Linenkugel
replaces Dr. Ida Schick, who served as chair since 1998. Ida began her career
at Xavier in 1992. She was a driving
force behind preserving the best of the program while steering it into the
future, spearheading the drive to transform the Graduate Program, while
overseeing the expansion into the undergraduate and post-graduate realms. Dr.
Schick has retired as a full-time faculty. However, in her usual style, is not
sitting still. Ida is writing an article for Health
Progress, teaching in the K12 Virtual Academy and remains as a consultant to
the Department and supervising students in their residencies. She plans to enjoy traveling, cooking and
enjoying her grandchildren at some point in the near future!
