The Benchmarking for Education in Healthcare Management (BEHM) platform is now open and accepting 2013 program data.  Program Directors should log into benchmark.aupha.org by September 1, 2013 to complete 2013 program data and any other data that may be missing from 2011 and 2012.  The completeness of each program’s portal is not only imperative for the benefit of comparison to other program members, but also for programs to do year-over-year comparisons of their own data.

How Does the Portal Work?

The Program Operations Portal allows AUPHA Member Programs to enter their annual program survey information, such as data on program enrollment, graduate placement, and faculty demographics, then compare the data supplied to the data supplied by other programs that meet a specific search criteria.  Reports can then be generated and downloaded for the program to use in presentations and publications, or as support for program improvement.

Why is the Portal Important?

The portal generates tremendous data about our programs and the field. This data is used not only by programs and AUPHA, but by outside organizations such as ACHE, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the Department of Education. Aggregate data about the field will soon be made available to others at a fee.

Who Has Access?

All Program Directors at AUPHA Full, Associate Candidate, and Associate Member Programs have a unique username and password, which provides them access to the program's gateway page.  PDs are able to add additional users and can select the level of access each user has within the portal.

Program Directors that have lost or forgotten their login information may contact BEHM support at benchmark@aupha.org.  Questions regarding the use of the platform can be directed to Lacey Meckley at lmeckley@aupha.org
