Good Morning:
We are having an issue here and are wondering how widespread it is. While we do not have a vault full of money to give away in scholarships, we have enough to offer full tuition support for one semester to our top students. We are finding that most of our best applicants are turning us down despite the scholarship offer to go to other programs. The word we hear is that they are offered substantially more money at these other schools.
My question is whether you are finding something similar? Is this an issue endemic throughout the field or just affecting private universities?
