A Tour of the Dutch Healthcare System
June 24-29, 2012

AUPHA, in partnership with The Decision Group announces a 5-day study tour of the Dutch healthcare system. The purpose of this tour is to provide AUPHA members and stakeholders with new ways to think about specific health management and policy issues by interacting with experts from other countries that are grappling with similar problems. The focus will be on areas in which the Netherlands has excelled or experimented with innovative programs, or has unique challenges from which our faculty can learn.

AUDIENCE


The tours will include healthcare management faculty, students, and practitioners. A maximum of 20 participants will be accepted for the tour. AUPHA reserves the right to cancel the tour 90 days in advance if it is undersubscribed.

COST


The cost includes scheduled tour activities, overnight accommodations for six nights, selected meals, and local transportation to/from tour events. Registrants will arrange their own transportation to and from The Netherlands, including transportation to/from the airport/hotel, and will assume the cost of non-scheduled meals and non-tour related transportation.

Tuition:        $1,100 for AUPHA Members, $1,600 for Non-Members

Logistics:     Estimated at EUR 1,390 (may vary based on number of travellers and 2012 rates)

All logistics provided by International Study Programs.

Approximate Total Cost in US$ for faculty registrant = $3,000 (based on rate eff. 10/15/11) -- Actual cost will be a result of exchange rate at time that final payment is made

Spouse/Companion Add-on Fee:      EUR 250
