The Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society aims to encourage interest in academic preparation and recognize academic achievement and outstanding contributions to the profession. AUPHA is pleased to introduce a new scholarship program, dedicated to inductees of Upsilon Phi Delta chapter’s across the AUPHA membership.
Beginning in September 2014, several five hundred dollar scholarships will be awarded to UPD chapters annually, based on the funds available. Chapter recipients will be selected randomly, and all eligible chapters will have the opportunity to receive the award before any chapters may receive it a second time. Selected chapters will choose the most deserving student inductee to receive the scholarship at their program.
Students currently enrolled in a healthcare management program should use the award for education-related expenses, including tuition, books and materials, or room and board, and graduating students will have the opportunity to use the award for educational or professional development opportunities, including registration fees, travel expenses, or professional attire.
Chapter Advisors should ensure their chapter is eligible to receive the award by following the below minimum guidelines:
