Many students
look to AUPHA for resources, guidance, and opportunities for involvement with
the Association. In response, AUPHA launched a student community last spring, including
a discussion board and library, to serve as a platform for collaboration and
the sharing of useful resources.
The community is open to all healthcare management students, undergraduate,
graduate, and doctoral, and provides a platform to network, share ideas, and
discuss relevant topics. Participants are encouraged to discuss activities that
pertain to student groups, such as Upsilon Phi Delta, share resume or
application tips, current news clips or articles, or experiences with
internships or fellowships in the field.
The community also provides AUPHA with a platform to distribute information on
student scholarship and award opportunities and various exhibits or
professional development events. Programs with student opportunities to share
may contact Stephanie Williams via email
or at (703) 894-0940 x124 for additional information
Students may register for the community via the online
submission form. Registrants will receive a welcome email containing
instructions to access and use the platform and a code of conduct. AUPHA
monitors the community daily and the sharing of resources that could unfairly
disadvantage another student is not permitted.
