I would like to ask your assistance with two exciting opportunities! First, here at Saint Joseph's College of Maine we hold an annual health administration symposium each July. We are looking for presenters that would be willing to be a part of this event. The dates are July 25th through 29th. We will pay travel (up to $750), provide housing and food, and pay a $100 stipend. We are looking for experts to lead a 3-hour presentation/discussion about a topic relevant to "Healthcare in the 21st Century." While we recognize that the stipend is small, it is an opportunity to spend a week in Maine in July with all expenses paid! It's beautiful here in Maine ...

Good Morning: We are having an issue here and are wondering how widespread it is. While we do not have a vault full of money to give away in scholarships, we have enough to offer full tuition support for one semester to our top students. We are finding that most of our best applicants are turning us down despite the scholarship offer to go to other programs. The word we hear is that they are offered substantially more money at these other schools. My question is whether you are finding something similar? Is this an issue endemic throughout the field or just affecting private universities? Len
