Leadership is a difficult skill to teach in a classroom. Nonetheless, there is a body of information that can help students understand the qualities of leadership and learn how to acquire the skills that can be applied to make them effective when they are in leadership positions. Examples, case studies and involving practicing healthcare leaders as role model guest speakers can be helpful.
