  1. Contrast the services that provide mental health in terms of operational characteristics, clients served and workforce providers
  2. Describe the operational interactions of the services and providers of the continuum of mental health care
  3. Discuss financing of mental health care, in particular within managed care
  4. Articulate the implications of a systems approach to mental health care from the perspective of providers, payers, patients, and families
  5. Discuss how transfer and discharge processes affect patients, families and providers.
