Program Director 201

The second webinar in the new Program Director Series, Program Director 201, will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 from 12:00pm-2:00pm EDT.  This session will tackle the ever-present issues surrounding fostering and maintaining relationships as a program director.  Specifically, the following topics will addressed:
  • Building a faculty: Negotiating as an employer, as well as ensuring the new faculty member’s success. 
  • Student Recruitment: What attracts and keeps the most promising students to a program.
  • Preceptors & Internships: Designing a meaningful field experience, working with preceptors, including getting your students funded
  • Alumni & External Relations: Hear what one health administration program, as a team effort with its Chair and PD, is doing to engage its alumni with their alma mater and to create ways for these alumni to assist and influence program students as future health administration leaders, their alma mater program, and their alumni associations.
