Webinar: Teaching Through Experience: Learning Healthcare Leadership in Clinical Settings

When:  Sep 29, 2010 from 01:00 to 15:00 (ET)

Breaking down learning barriers requires transitioning from pure knowledge retention towards affective learning via either bringing real world experiences into the classroom or taking the classroom into the clinical setting. This session will focus on how to develop and implement clinical experiential learning opportunities using case studies from Rush University, The Ohio State University, and John Hopkins University - three programs that systematically embed these opportunities in their curriculum.

Onsite clinical learning opportunities improve students' understanding of healthcare and equip them with the necessary competencies to manager today's healthcare organizations and to lead those organizations in the future.
