AUPHA’s Art of Teaching Institute (ATI) now offers the Certificate for Teaching in Healthcare Management, which allows current and aspiring faculty to demonstrate their commitment to continuously improving their skills in the classroom. Courses within the ATI provide instruction, activities, and readings directly related to teaching within the field of Health Administration.
To earn this credential, individuals must complete one 6-credit course and the 3-credit course Inclusive Excellence and Belonging: Creating and Sustaining an Environment in Which All Learners Thrive. Individuals then select elective credits to reach the minimum 15-credit mark to earn the certificate. To remain certified, individuals then complete 15 continuing education credits every two years through additional coursework and other AUPHA program offerings.
