AUPHA is pleased to announce the Certificate for Leadership in Healthcare Management Education, offered through the Leadership Academy. This new credential provides recognition to faculty committed to continuous learning and improvement related to academic leadership. It also helps prepare those without existing experience to take on new leadership roles within academia.
To earn the Certificate for Leadership in Healthcare Management Education, participants must earn 16 credits through the Leadership Academy. Full details regarding the requirements are available on the Leadership Academy page of AUPHA’s website.
AUPHA members pursuing the certificate have the option to pay up front at a discounted rate of $850 (doctoral student members will pay $650). Alternatively, they may register course by course (typically paying at least $950 in total).
Non-members may also purchase and pay for the certificate in advance, at the full non-member rate of $1,150. Individuals interested in purchasing a certificate should complete this form.
Participants who have previously taken Leadership Academy courses will be awarded credits towards the certificate. Those who have not yet completed a course with the Leadership Academy can register for one of the current offerings here.
