Know Before You Go: 2025 AUPHA Annual Meeting

To assist those attending the 2025 AUPHA Annual Meeting in Columbus, Ohio, with planning your visit, important information about the meeting and local area has been provided below. Be sure to review it so your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We look forward to seeing you soon!
 
Pre-Conference Sessions
  • Pre-Conference Keynote: Maximizing Impact and Meaning During Turbulent Times: Looking Back and Looking Ahead, Joseph R. Betancourt, MD, MPH, President, The Commonwealth Fund, June 3, 2:00 – 3:00PM 
  • AUPHA Annual Business Meeting, June 11, 1:00 – 2:15PM (The recording will be available after June 12)

Be sure to also visit the exhibit tables in the prefunction areas.
 
Meeting Program and Eventsential App
In a continuing effort to limit paper waste, AUPHA uses the Eventsential meeting app to offer attendees a single area to: 
  • Search sessions and create your own custom schedule
  • View the floorplan and room assignments
  • Take notes for each session
  • Receive up-to-the-minute notifications and announcements while onsite
  • Send and receive messaging
  • And so much more!
If you have not done so yet, download the Eventsential app to your iPhone or Android device via the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once downloaded, search for the 2025 AUPHA Annual Meeting within the application and select it. You can visit the interactive web version of the app or review the online program for additional details. If you have any issues accessing the app, please visit AUPHA staff at the registration desk. 
 
Note that there will be limited printed materials at this meeting, so Eventsential is the best way to stay up-to-date throughout the meeting.
 
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available in the meeting rooms and public space throughout the Hilton Columbus Downtown. To log-in, please select the Hilton Honors Meeting network name and enter the following password: AUPHA25. Be advised that the internet speed provided through this log-in is sufficient for basic internet usage but may not be suitable for items that include a large amount of bandwidth, such as streaming or the ability for Zoom/Microsoft Teams meetings.
 
Code of Conduct
AUPHA is committed to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants at all events. All attendees/participants are expected to abide by the AUPHA Meeting Code of Conduct in all venues throughout AUPHA’s 2025 Annual Meeting. In addition to the specific items noted in the code, attendees should always generally remain mindful of their behavior and actions. Please limit your conversations and volume during sessions, don’t use high bandwidth activities on the conference Wi-Fi (e.g., streaming videos, video conferencing), and do move quickly through buffet lines.

Be sure to wear your badge at all times as it permits you entry into sessions, breakfasts, lunches, and receptions.
  
Pre and Post-Meeting Events
Site Visit (Monday, June 16, 2025, 2:00 – 4:00PM)
Individuals who have registered for the Hard Hat Tour of the Wexner Medical Tower at the Ohio State University should meet AUPHA staff in the check-in lobby of the Hilton Columbus Downtown by 1:30PM. The group will depart together promptly at 1:30PM. Contact Kelsey Kvandal, kkvandal@aupha.org, if you have any questions.
 
Volunteer Opportunity (Monday, June 16, 2025, 2:00 – 4:00PM)
Individuals who have registered for the volunteer opportunity with the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio should meet AUPHA staff in the check-in lobby of the Hilton Columbus Downtown by 1:30PM. The group will depart together promptly at 1:30PM. Contact Jia Bin Tan, jbtan@aupha.org, if you have any questions.
 
Networking Event (Thursday, June 19, 5:00 – 8:00PM)
The Land-Grant Brewery Innovation Beer Tasting and Brewery Tour takes place after the close of the 2025 AUPHA Annual Meeting. To those individuals who have registered for this event, a reminder that transportation is not included so please plan accordingly. It is recommended that individuals wear business casual attire during the meeting.  For the most up-to-date information on the weather, please click here.

While the 2025 AUPHA Annual Meeting is packed full of great sessions, we encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities and attractions that Columbus has to offer. Visit the Experience Columbus website to learn more about ongoing events, restaurants, and attractions in the area.
