Nailya DeLellis Assumes director position for Health Administration at Central Michigan University

Nailya DeLellis, PhD, MPH was recently elected by the Health Administration faculty at Central Michigan University to be the Health Administration Division director beginning with the spring semester 2018. She will take over from Steven Berkshire, EdD, MHA, FACHE who held that position for the past eight years. He continues as the Program director for the Doctor of Health Administration degree within the Division. The Health Administration Division is located in the School of Health Sciences of The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions. Dr. DeLellis has been at Central Michigan University for the past seven years since completing her doctoral studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Health Services Research. As Division director she is responsible for administrative functions of the Division and serves as the director for the Undergraduate major in Health Administration. Besides the AUPHA certified Undergraduate major, the Division also has the Masters in Health Administration (MHA) degree program, the Doctor of Health Administration degree program, two graduate certificates, collaborative concentrations in Health Services Administration with the MPH degree, MBA degree, and the MSA degree.
