AUPHA is pleased to share details of the 2022 Academic Program and Practitioner Workshop
, scheduled to be held at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 East Wacker Drive, on Tuesday, March 29th, 7:00 – 11:30AM Central time. AUPHA’s Graduate Program Committee, led by co-chairs Laurie Shanderson, PhD, MPA, FACHE, Methodist College, and Rhonda BeLue, PhD, Saint Louis University, has planned an exceptional Workshop.
The Workshop opens with the annual AUPHA/ACHE Joint Keynote Breakfast Session featuring Quint Studer. Studer’s presentation, Creating a Culture of Replenishment
, will drive the theme of the Workshop. Studer has spent decades in healthcare and has worked for multiple healthcare systems. In 2000, he founded Studer Group®, a healthcare and education coaching company. After this was sold, he founded the Studer Community Institute, a not-for-profit whose mission is to improve the quality of life for people. He has authored many books, with several appearing on bestseller lists. His newest book, The Calling: Why Healthcare Is So Special
, is aimed at helping healthcare professionals keep their sense of passion and purpose high.
The next segment of the Workshop features a panel including two academics, a practitioner, and a student, who will discuss replenishment, organizational compassion, and Joy in Work. The Workshop will close with an interactive, hands-on session.PANELISTS:
